Lenovo ThinkPad X200 comes with Montevina Platform

Lenovo announced the ThinkPad X200 ultraportable notebook featuring Intel’s Centrino 2 “Montevina” platform, an extended battery life up to 9.8 hours, and powered by Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 or P800
Lenovo’s ThinkPad X200 use the latest Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26 GHz) or P8600 (2.40 GHz) 45-nanometer processors. Other core components include Intel X4500 HD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, and up to 320GB hard drive or a 64GB solid state drive. There is no a built-in optical drive. For DVD / CD reading and burning and Blu-Ray playback, the X200 uses a separate docking station – the X200 Ultrabase. The widescreen display of the X200 has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
Regarding connectivity features, the Centrino 2-powered ultraportable sports the latest Intel WiFi Link 5000 wireless modules supporting 802.11 draft n standard, as well as Gigabit Ethernet connection, an optionally integrated mobile broadband module with GPS, and Bluetooth option. A specifications sheet of the product says the WimAX and Intel UltraWide band (UWb) options will be available later in 2008.
